Printable practice sheets — not a graded assignment from your school.

Use it for early fluency or regrouping days when the workbook page is finished and you still want a clean sheet. Re-roll for a second set without changing the dials.

Subtraction-only work belongs on the subtraction page. For a mix of + and −, use the combined addition and subtraction page.

When to use / when not to

1st–3rd fluency, regrouping practice with multi-digit on, or a short homework page after a lesson.

Subtraction-only or long division — use those pages. This is not a grade calculator.

Assumptions

US Letter. Facts stay non-negative and inside the ranges you set. Multi-digit mode expects room for regrouping.

Worked examples

EXAMPLE 01

Input: facts within 20, 24 problems

Output: a fluency page

Good for a ten-minute warm-up.

EXAMPLE 02

Input: 2-digit + 2-digit with regrouping, 12 problems

Output: a shorter computation page

Fewer problems leave space to show work.

How it works

  1. Choose facts vs multi-digit addition.
  2. Set problem count and layout.
  3. Preview, then print student copies.
  4. Print a teacher key if you need one.

Common traps

  • Multi-digit pages need blank space — do not cram 30 problems if kids must show regrouping.
  • Print at 100% scale so lines stay readable.
  • Keep the answer key off the student stack.

FAQ

Both. Start with facts for fluency; switch to multi-digit when regrouping is the goal.
